How to add and manage users and control permissions in Claritee

The basic level of access is public access, which allows anyone with a sharelink to view the sitemap and pages without logging in. The next level of access is a viewer, who can access and comment on projects within an assigned room.

A Collaborator has editing access to all projects in a room but cannot create new projects or assign new collaborators, and a Manager has administrative access to the entire workspace, including the ability to create rooms, projects, and assign collaborators.

If you are purchasing the account but someone else will be managing projects, it is recommended to invite that person as a manager to the workspace.

  • Public access and sharelink: How the sharelink allows public access to the sitemap and layouts without requiring a login.

  • Viewer access level: Access and commenting capabilities of a viewer within assigned projects.

  • Collaborator access level: How to edit the access of a collaborator with limitations on creating new projects and assigning new collaborators.

  • Manager access level: Information on the administrative access of a manager to the entire workspace, with the ability to create rooms, projects, and assign collaborators.
