Saving and sharing

How to share your project, using the sharelink, or by inviting users

All files are saved automatically in real-time in Claritee. You don't need to click save.

To share a project, you can share the sharelink, which is a public link; or you can invite someone to your project. The sharelink is a public link that anybody can access to view the project (without the need to log in). Viewers using the share link can view the project, click on any clickable element (like links), view public comments, and add their own comments. You can also share projects by inviting users.

Multiple ways to share Claritee layouts:

  • Public access and sharelink: Public access is achieved through a sharelink, allowing anyone to view the sitemap and canvas pages without logging in or being added to the Claritee project.
  • Viewer Only access: Viewers can only view and comment on projects they have been invited to.
  • Collaborator Only access: Collaborators have full project editing permissions but cannot create new projects or assign new collaborators.
  • Manager Only access: Managers have full permissions for the workspaces they were added to.

Stakeholder's permissions explained:

  • A stakeholder who has been invited to a project as a viewer can access and comment on all projects in an assigned room.
  • A stakeholder who has been invited to a project as a collaborator can edit all projects within a room, but cannot create new projects or assign new collaborators.
  • A stakeholder who is a manager has full administrative access to an entire workspace, including the ability to create new rooms and projects, and assign collaborators and viewers.
