Inviting Members and Managing Permissions

Claritee makes it simple to invite team members, assign them to the right rooms, and control their level of access. You can also share projects externally with a public link for quick feedback.

Inviting Members (users)

  1. Click the Members Panel in the top right corner.

  2. Enter the member’s email address and click Invite.

  3. Assign them to a room so they have access to specific projects.

⚠️ If you don’t add someone to a room, they’ll have an account but won’t see or access your projects.

Permission Levels

When inviting members, you’ll choose what role they have:

  • Viewer

    • Can view projects in the room.

    • Can leave comments.

    • Cannot edit or create projects.

  • Collaborator

    • Can view and edit projects in the room.

    • Cannot create new projects.

  • Manager

    • Can view, edit, and create new projects in the room.

Choose the role that matches their responsibilities to keep your projects secure and organized.

Organizing with Rooms

  • Single company/team: Most teams can work in just one room with all projects and assets grouped together.

  • Agencies or multiple clients: Create one room per client. Invite each client only to their assigned room.

This keeps assets (like logos and images) and member permissions neatly separated.

Sharing with a Public Link

In addition to inviting members, you can share projects externally with a public link:

  • Anyone with the link can access it—no login required.

  • They can view the project and add comments.

  • You control which comments are visible.

  • When creating the link, you decide:

    • What content is visible

    • Whether the link expires or not

    • Whether the link is active or turned off

This is ideal for gathering quick feedback from clients or external stakeholders.

Summary

  • Invite members via the Members Panel and assign them to rooms.

  • Choose the correct permission level: Viewer, Collaborator, or Manager.

  • Use rooms to organize projects and assets by team or client.

  • Share projects externally with a public link when login isn’t required.
